The review process of submitted contributions is now completed and the deadline for registration and payment of participation fee for all authors (20 February) is past.

The proceedings, including all poster abstract and supporting papers, are available for download and a printed version will be handed out to all participants on arrival to the meeting.

Oral presenters are asked to make a 5-10 min presentation of there paper using maximum three slides. A template is available for download. Slides are submitted to the secretariat on arrival to the meeting.

Poster presenters should register their poster in the secretariat on arrival and a panel will be provided.

Supporting papers and poster abstracts are welcomed from all annual meeting attendees and will be published in the meeting proceedings. The proceedings will be available before the meeting and used in the open forum activities to underpin discussions, allowing all delegates the opportunity to fully participate in the meeting. It will also give the introduction to each poster and guide delegates through the poster boards.
Deadline for submission is 1 February 2007.

Papers

The supporting papers should be of relevance to one of the key questions in the energy or the food and water flagship research programs. It may also be related to educational aspects of the key questions. The content can be of personal reflections, specific ideas, research and findings. We encourage a focus on the pathways to sustainable futures rather than the future itself.

Posters

The poster abstracts should be relevant to global sustainability. Abstracts will be accepted in three broad areas: (1) related to the key questions in the energy or the food and water flagship research programs, (2) of general relevance to global sustainability and (3) related to educational aspects. The content can include personal reflections, specific ideas, research and findings. Accepted abstracts will be offered a poster slot in the poster viewing session.

Review conditions

Contributions will be reviewed to make sure they are in line with the instructions. A formal letter (accepted/rejected) will be sent to authors no later than 15 February 2007. Accepted papers and poster abstracts will be included in the annual meeting proceedings conditional to:

receiving the final version of the contribution according to deadline, and
registration and payment of the author’s participation fee no later than 20th February 2007.
