Calculated CO2 emissions
Emissions of the meeting venue:
- UPC has calculated the CO2 emissions of the venue's energy consumption: 3,95 CO2 tonnes
- The emissions will be compensated through the UPC de-carbonization strategy "UPCO2"
Chalmers delegates travel:
- Chalmers has calculated the total CO2 emissions generated by delegates travel: 24,8 CO2 tonnes
- The emissions will be compensated through the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation
Participants air travel:
- UPC has calculated the CO2 emissions generated by participants travel: 237,2 CO2 tonnes
- The organization encourages all participants to reduce and compensate CO2 emissions through:
- Energy efficiency actions
- Use of renewable energy
- Sustainable mobility
- Local CO2 offset programmes
